FAQs
LRE Electric
What should I ask before hiring?
Feel free to ask our electrician the following questions! We guarantee you'll love the answers!
Are you licensed and insured?
Do you offer a warranty or guarantee on labor and parts?
Will you provide a detailed written estimate?
Do you specialize in residential, commercial, or specific systems like EV chargers?
Is it safe to do my own electrical work?
It is strongly discouraged. DIY work risks serious injury, electrical fires, and building code violations. Simple tasks like changing a lightbulb are safe, but anything involving wiring or the breaker panel should be handled by a licensed electrician.
What is a GFCI, and where do I need it?
A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protects against electrical shock by cutting power when it detects a current imbalance. These are required by code near water sources, such as kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and outdoors. Reach out today with any other questions! We also offer generator installation!
